Y

Y is a communicative, performative reflection on what a stage work could be from the point of view of a choreographer. It is a guided tour which moves the spectator through the intellectual, the sensorial and the imaginary, suggesting a poetic field of possible scenarios. The piece evolves into a one sided conversation, a monologue in which words and phrases in the form of questions take the place of the theatrical effects. Y emerges from the wish to reveal that which is behind the choreographical process, behind the writing of movement, behind the visible form.
